The Cluster Yachting Monaco, a centre of competitiveness uniting interdependent organisations and companies operating in the same sector, aims to bring together professionals working in the Monaco marketplace.
It was established on the initiative of a top level committee (Conseil Stratégique pour l’Attractivité de Monaco) set up by the Monaco Government five years ago.
Historically, yachts have always been attracted to Monaco. Today the yachting industry and the many peripheral activities associated with it comprise a significant share of the local economy and provide numerous jobs both on boats and ashore. The Cluster Yachting Monaco’s aim is to ensure the Monaco authorities are aware of its significance and make Monaco the capital of yachting."
The opportunity to be part of this organisation is highly valued by Ocean Independence in order to participate in the sustained development of Monaco as an established, prime yachting destination.
Above all, the Yachting Cluster in Monaco was created by and for professionals to share their experiences, the day-to-day reality driving their businesses,
their perceptions of the market and their ideas. Some of our goals include:
Promote “Monaco: Capital of Yachting” through its professionals and businesses
Highlight Monaco as a maritime and yachting nation
Promote communication and instigate dialogue to progress
Encourage innovation in the industry
Inspire synergies between partners
Brainstorm ideas on training and employment
Enable and help each of our members to collaborate
Create events to promote all of our core values
