He will from now on continue in his dynamic role for this new entity. “We are absolutely thrilled to bring an international brand with so much history and experience in yachting into NZ, particularly at a time when the international spotlight is shining on us”, said Lidgard. “The timing was perfect and we are excited at what we are going to be able to do.”
Catalano Shipping Services and the A-Gents network have provided the highest levels of service to superyachts throughout the Mediterranean for decades and are excited to expand into the Pacific.
With additional links to their established offices in Singapore and Indonesia, their partners in Panama and global network, the group is primed to take things to another level in time for the Americas Cup 2021 in New Zealand.
“All A-Gents by Catalano offices are owned by the group and operated by experienced local partners,” Tomaso Moreno, CEO of the Fratelli Cosulich yachting business units “This means we are able to guarantee top local service, backed by a global network, systems and team which results in seamless support and standards from office to office”.
Being a truly global brand gives the group greater opportunities to develop wider supply channels, increase areas of support with Refit, Management and Charter. The new company will take over the Superyacht Support office which will ensure seamless service continues during this exciting transition. Duthie continues to work from the Silo Marina location directly across the road from the Americas Cup Compounds to ensure they are perfectly positioned to service the many superyachts who plan to be in Auckland for an extended blockbuster season in 2021, culminating in the Americas Cup from 6th to 21st March.
